Description
I decided to put this together with some silver-thread garnet beads halfway and a thin chain back the neck since it was going to be worn with a red taffeta halterneck-cut dress.
It fit perfectly in size and shape with the garment and I really like it despite some odd comments about it.
The inspiration was a very red sunset through weeping willows, seen from a little river boat in Cambridge some weeks back. The stone is a synthetic ruby. The pearl was added for balance in the piece.
