Victorian wedding couple

I made this some years ago.
Two dear friends were getting married, and they commissioned me for something special.

Her costume is inspired by the late bustle period, and his outfit is a bit of a modernized version of the jackette, the jacket embroidered with organza ribbons at the back.


For her: underpinnings for the gown, the full dress plus a jacket.
For him: Velvet jacket, waistcoat and necktie.


The gown is in red silk dupion and has loads of detail
