Turning leaf elven silver spoon pendant by fairyfrog Turning leaf elven silver spoon pendant by fairyfrog
I always thought elves were huge fans of recycling.

Over the years I made a few "spoon handle rings" but never came up with what to do with the bowls. I saved them, sometimes I melted them to cast other things and some I just tucked away for later use.

A few weeks back i got a commission for a little pendant supposed to be given to an "elf child" at a Larp, and I figured "Hey, I bet an elf would love to get a gift made from an old upcycled silver spoon!"

..And there you have it.

Approx. 1 inch tall. Sweet water pearls and garnets.

It was fun to make! Fun equals rather often quite quick in making. :) I'm rather impatient.

I have seen several "spoon artists" using the handle to make various things, and some even sell their left over scrap spoon bowls on Ebay as scraps. I don't see why they wouldn't use that too! :)
