Another wand for the Harry Potter larp I attended.
I figured I needed something to throw an actual "Lumos"-spell with.
Made this from a piece of turned wood in the workshop and had it chucked in my boot. I dropped it at one point after chasing after a Dementor... It spent a rainy night in the grass but I must have done something right - it still worked in the morning!
Industrial-strength miniature (1.8mm) LED light in the tip. Cables going through the wood and rolled on the outside making it look like a decoration all the way down to a miniature switch hid in the leather handle. It was also quite easy to unwrap so I could have changed batteries or mended it if it would break in the electricity.
Decorated with a silver ring I made some years ago that's been hiding in a drawer.
The character carried two wands. "One for business and one for pleasure".
