And people knowing a bit about metal instantly knows this can't be gold or silver. If you bring those metals up to this shine they will have melted already!
I did engrave it, as well as giving it a patterned, water/wave-like surface.
Here they are finished.
Gold application and then patterned.
The thought with these rings is that they are going to look abstract when alone on the finger.
When the second ring (whis is not yet in production) is made for the wedding, it will be in gold with a single orange round gem.
..The thought is that they will look like a sunset over the ocean together, and the meeting between the two rings becoming the horizon.
I am looking forward to some day photograph the two rings together as a whole!
