Brass steampunk goggles, custom-made for a friend in 2009!
The lenses are special-cut by an optrician friend, the black one from a pair of solderign goggles, the other from a magnifying glass.
Every bit, part from the brass rivets on the leather, are hand made by me. Even the bolts I made from scratch.
These babies weighed a LOT, and i am glad the guy who got them is strong enough to carry them properly!
My first attempt to make goggles.

Oh! Great that you saw them! The one who I made them to is a gamer/roleplayer. So I figured it worked. They also set the width holding the separate goggle eyes in place. Form and function.
